POSITION SUMMARY:
  • Providing EXCELLENT customer service at all times
  • Resolving a very wide variety of issues related to web sites and email
  • Utilizing the latest in technology from vmWare, Dell and other technologies
  • Assisting customers with account setup and maintenance

EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING A PLUS:
  • Windows Server 2008 or 2012
  • Linux Servers (centOS preferred)
  • cPanel
  • Experience providing SUPERIOR customer service
  • Experience with PHP, .NET, or ColdFsion would be helpful

HOURS (1 opening - 3 schedules to choose from):
Thursday through Monday - 1am to 9am (or 2am to 10am)
or
Thursday through Monday - 9am to 6pm
or
Saturday through Wednesday - 1pm - 10pm



Systems Administrator

EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING A PLUS:

  • Virtualization - vmWare or OpenStack/CloudStack preferred
  • Network storage - Equalogic &/or Compellent Preferred
  • VPN configuration and troubleshooting
  • Firewalls
  • Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS)
  • Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)
  • VLAN configuration
  • Switches
  • Routers
  • Web Servers
  • Database servers
  • Any scripting language (bash, powershell, etc.)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills

SPECIFIC PRODUCTS THAT POSITION WILL BE WORKING WITH:
  • VMware vSphere
  • Cisco ASA
  • Corero IPS
  • Windows Server (all versions)
  • RedHat Enterprise Linux
  • CentOS
  • Dell EqualLogic
  • Dell Compellent
  • IIS
  • Apache
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • MySQL
  • Active Directory
  • Microsoft System Center Operations Manager


JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:
  • Administration of all aspects of the IT infrastructure. This includes servers and their applications, switches, storage, virtualization, routers, and security.
  • Troubleshooting complex issues
  • Documentation (both internal and external)
  • Deploying new servers
  • VPN configuration and troubleshooting
  • have excellent written and verbal skills

HOURS:
Normal business hour range - Monday-Friday (24/7 on call rotation)
